Hello and welcome to my very first daily message! I say welcome, yet I really feel as though it is you, the unseen cyber-citizens, that are in fact welcoming me! Thank you for your hospitality!
Today's message to the Universe is New Love! New love can take many forms. It can take the form of a new relationship or love interest, as well as the rekindling of feelings for an old flame or current flame gone cold. It can also mean the discovery of a new passion or new favourite. Perhaps, you discovered a new flavour of ice cream, or maybe it's my blog that has you newly enamored ;).
However, the overwhelming feeling I got from this message when I received it was hope. I feel many people will be flocking to my blog looking for answers on new romance. One of the greatest quotes I have ever heard is, "Great love and great opportunity come from great risk." Love is risky. We put ourselves and our feelings on the the line for the sake of experiencing the love and joy that can come from an intense connection to a soul mate.
Things don't always happen as we plan it, though, and sometimes we experience that intense connection to another person when we are currently in a relationship with another. And while you may care for your partner, there is no denying the other person/soul mate.
In the current economic times, many people are coupling for monetary reasons. People feel that they cannot afford to pay the rent and the electricity bill if they live alone, and so they commit to someone they like but not someone they love. You can have a relationship and even a marriage of convenience and be perfectly happy, but you run the risk of never experiencing true love. And that to me is the saddest story of all.
In my opinion, all people are intuitive enough to tell the difference between lust and a soul mate connection. My advice to anyone who experiences this kind of connection is to drop everything and pursue this relationship! You will experience magic and romance like you thought only existed on the silver screen! :)
